I planned to stay 3 months but stayed 7 months with Hei Homes and I highly recommend them for those who can afford it. The house was spacious and well decorated. Their room rental rates are competitive, and to compare accurately you should consider that all recurring costs are included in their rental unlike some other companies/landlords – costs such as cleaning, wifi, utilities and household supplies.

Here are 4 things I appreciated:

1) Easily accessible, personal and responsive customer support via WhatsApp – I have since moved to a bigger name Co-living company and their customer service requires you to submit a ticket through their app, and they’re slow to respond, it’s driving me nuts. Appreciating Hei Homes even more now.

2) Provision of household supplies over and above the minimal that other companies provide. Again comparing to my new place as well as based on my enquiries with many others during my search.

3) Prioritizing privacy in mixed gender apartments – in my apartment with two rooms sharing an adjoining bathroom between the rooms, they were committed to ensuring that prospective male tenants were offered other rooms, so that as a female tenant I would not have an adjoining bathroom with a male tenant. I did not find any other companies committed to such arrangements during my search.
Also in relation to privacy, they took very seriously my concern about a camera in the shower and acted promptly on it (turned out to be a false alarm).

4) As a bonus, they are still the only co-living company I know to allow overnight stays at no extra charge (for a limited number of days per month). Because of this I made good memories having my godsister stay over with me sometimes. It was a blessing and a special time.

I had 5 housemates during this short time and it was great knowing them, we got along well despite the age gap (I’m older than most of them being in my late 30s).

Hei Homes wasn’t perfect of course, there were issues but they were mostly resolved satisfactorily or I decided I could live with it, being a short-term stayer. I still highly recommend Hei Homes to anyone who might be looking, local or expat.

I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the wonderful experience I had during my stay at Hei Homes Apartment at Hertford Mansion. From the moment I stepped into the house, I knew that I had made the right choice. It has the amenities I needed to feel at home. The management team was prompt and willing to help with any issues that arose. Their maintenance staff are efficient in addressing any requests. The location was in Little India and hence also ideal, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment which is what I needed the most. The space is big and airy and extremely tastefully furnished! Overall, I would highly recommend Hei homes to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient co-living experience. Spent a lovely 4 months living at the Hei Homes accomodation in Tanjong Pagar. They lived up to the expectations set and while living with them I was happy at the end of a day to go back to a home. They created a warm environment and made sure that the tenants had everything they needed. Whenever we needed anything fixed or resupplied they would do so within a day or two. Very good service happy to have chosen them! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to put down roots!

I love how homey and warm the living spaces feel, as opposed to the typical ones you get from hotel rooms that require you to pay twice as much. Without knowing where to settle down in Singapore as a foreigner, co-living was the answer. And choosing Hei Homes was the right decision. On day 1, the management team made adjustments for my late-night arrival in Singapore and provided me detailed instructions, with photos, to enter the property. Hei Homes offered me everything I needed, from bedding, furniture, household necessities to hospitality. The best part was the management team’s responsiveness to any inquiries. Location was a bonus! I ended up extending my stay for a couple more months. I’d recommend Hei Homes to anyone who is looking for a short-term rental.

Hei Homes is by far the best place I have stayed in Singapore. Throughout 2 years living in Sturdee View apartment, I find the staffs very helpful and the weekly cleaning service excellent. It was a full of sun light flat and every single corner is photogenic and Instagramable. If I am not leaving Singapore, I will continue my tenure for years. I love that I had housemates from different countries and we got a long very well. I will miss my time with Hei Homes and highly recommend it for any one who is looking for a place to call home.
